Here's Walt Wilson's P-51 Mustang. It's a House of
Balsa .40 size kit that Ralph Doyle won flying Walt's "Tony" in the 1984
WARBIRDS. |
| He started building it in 1986, and it sat until he resumed
flying in 1987. He finished it in 1987 to refresh his building skills, before starting
something new. Note the panel lines and the "smoke residue" behind the wing gun
ports. |

It has a K&B .40 and is set up for a Futaba radio.
It's covered with fiberglass and finished in Hobby Poxy aluminum and various color
polyurethane paints. That's great photography, as well as outstanding detail, and
craftsmanship. |
