| Walt's P40 "Kittyhawk
Mk1"

This is Walt Wilson and his beautiful
P40 Kittyhawk. For a complete
report, watch the upcoming issues of RC Modeler.

Walt Wilson is doing a RC Modeler kit
review on this VQ Curtis P-40 Kittyhawk ARF kit, manufactured in Viet
Nam and distributed by Morris Hobbies in the U.S.A.

The wingspan is
61.8 inches and it weighs 8 pounds, 8 ounces.

The retracts
require a powerful servo and a lot of rework and adjustment to get them
operating properly. It also has flaps.

Walt took all the pictures shown here.

Paul Geders flew it. Here
he's taxiing out for "First Flight"!

The engine is an
Super Tiger .90 which offers plenty of power.

The kit comes with rotating
retracts installed and features working oleo struts.

It requires eight servos to operate
everything.

This is one "smooth" flying and
beautifully handling airplane!
The following pictures were shot by Don Fitch at long range!
