Spirits field will be closed for runway crack repairs on either Tuesday, July 2nd. If you have flown at the field lately, you would have noticed our runway cracks are getting deeper and wider, thus becoming a hazard to many aircraft.
During the repair, there will be no flying. After the repair, it may take some time before the repairs have cured so observe posted signs etc.
I am sorry we do not have a firm date and time of the repair, but we are at the mercy of the asphalt company and the weather. When I know more, I will send out an update.
