If a person asks if he can fly and is not a member, be sure to ask to see his AMA card. The end of the year is fast approaching and your club membership will end at midnight December 31st. The PayPal system is available for you to renew your membership

Old Business:
Despite miserable weather, the chili cookout and St. Louis Food Bank donation drive was held  Thanks to Dave Brown’s stew and David Harrington’s chili, there was enough food to go around. In addition, the food drive raised over 340 pounds of food in 10 boxes to give to the needy (see below). The club received a nice “thank you” from Meredith Knopp, President and CEO of Foodbank.  (See additional photos on the web site)

New Business:
The December meeting was open for discussion concerning upcoming events and club activities. If you have any suggestions, please inform the officers so they can add it to the agenda. Among the suggestions which included the normal activities like ‘frozen fingers’, swap meet, and Open House, Racing, fun flies, jet time trials, drone racing, and cook-outs were discussed.

Steve Pokorny displayed several control line combat planes from yesteryear. And Dave Harrington brought a B-25 for display

  • Been flying R/C since 1993. Building balsa airplanes since I was a kid. I love warbirds, aerobats, and just about anything that will fly.
