Spirits field will be closed for runway crack repairs on either Tuesday, July 2nd. Â If you have flown at the field lately, you would have noticed our runway cracks are getting deeper and wider, thus becoming a hazard to many aircraft.
During the repair, there will be no flying. After the repair, it may take some time before the repairs have cured so observe posted signs etc.
I am sorry we do not have a firm date and time of the repair, but we are at the mercy of the asphalt company and the weather. When I know more, I will send out an update.
